Cruz Maria Martinez (nee Santos), 98, formerly of Amherst, entered into rest on September 19, 2025 in Rochester. Devoted wife of the late Eusebio Martinez; beloved mother of Abraham (Pam) Martinez, Wilson (Myrna) Martinez, Luz Selena (Russell) Fratello, Cesar J. Martinez (Elizabeth Montes-Garcia) and Yolanda Martinez Rodriguez; cherished grandmother of Astrid Marie Martinez, David (Brittany) Martinez, Alexandra (Nathaniel) Martinez-Ropes, Erica (Randy) Greig, Natalie (Michael) Ficarella, Timothy J. (Britney) Rogers II, Emilia Miranda Rodriguez, Alejandro E. Rodriguez, Anjelica Jacinta Fratello, Rebecca Loren Martinez, Antonio Alvarez and Amelina (Christopher) Valerio; adored great-grandmother of many great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Castulo and Emilia (nee Colon) Santos; dear sister of Francesca (late Luis) Martinez, Carmen Maria Santos, Epifanio (late Modesta) Santos, Diego Santos, Carmen Ana Santos, Pedro Santos and the late Isabel (late Francisco) Rivera, late Ipolito Santos, late Juan Santos, and late Ana Nidia Santos; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins in the United States and Puerto Rico. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Wednesday, September 24 from 2-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Church, 885 Sweet Home Rd. Amherst on Thursday, September 25 at 9:30am (please assemble at church).
