KRUG, Cynthia A. (nee Mellody) of Eden, affectionately known as Cindy, was called by the Lord on December 13, 2025. Beloved wife of Joseph F. Krug; devoted mother of Madelyn (Nicholas) Kish, Emily (Casey) Cullen, Amanda (Ryan Garbacz) Sullivan, and stepmother of Jessica, Nicholas, Zachary (Tom Gross), Joseph (Brooke), Joshua, and Gianna Krug; cherished grandmother of Nicholas and Scarlett Kish and Mabel and Kolton Krug; loving daughter of Veronica Benes; dear sister of Mary (Daniel) Rundberg and Thomas Mellody; former spouse of Kevin Sullivan; also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and colleagues. She will forever be remembered for how beautifully she lived and for the profound impact she had on the lives of those who knew her. Cindy was a well respected educator who worked tirelessly to improve the welfare of her students. She loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she referred to as her “angels.” Her last years were spent traveling between their homes in Buffalo, NY and Maryville, TN, all while spending quality time with loved ones. She will be fiercely missed by all. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Monday (December 22nd) from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna on Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock. Please assemble at Church. Interment at Eden Evergreen Cemetery.
