KOWAL - Daniel J. Of Tonawanda, Entered into rest November 28, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Donna R. (nee Flaminio) Kowal; devoted father of Lisa (Michael) Ruggiero and Michael; cherished grandfather of Jeremy, Aaron, Katherine and Nicholas; fond great-grandfather of Luca and Scarlett; loving son of the late John and Catherine (nee Urbanski) Kowal; also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Amelia's Church, 2999 Eggert Rd., Tonawanda on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock (please assemble at church). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice Foundation of WNY, 225 Como Park Blvd., PO Box 590 Buffalo, NY 14240-0590. Daniel served in the Army National Guard.
