Darlene P. Serena

Serena, Darlene P. (nee Omar) of West Seneca, entered into rest December 25th, 2020. Devoted mother of Jacqueline Serena, Jillian (Otis) Arterberry and Jennifer Serena; adored grandmother of Otis and Meilani Arterberry; and loving daughter of the late Ahmed and Diane Omar. Also survived by former husband Brian Serena; siblings Debbie Sedita, David Omar, Denise Ocon, Danette Matos, the late Daryl Omar, and many nieces and nephews. Darlene was a dedicated mother. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren. She was known for her kind and compassionate spirit and always made people around her laugh. A Celebration of Life to be held at Lombardo Funeral Home, 885 Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst on February 21, 2021 from 11 AM- 2 PM. In remembrance of her joyful spirit, the family welcomes you to wear her favorite color yellow.
