Burks; loving brother of Brunetta Day, Ronnie Comer, Katrina (Ray) Robinson, Destiny Burks, Kent Burks, Minnette Burks, Jeanette Bell, Samella White and the late Edwin E. Burks, Eleon E. Burks and John S. White Jr.; cherished stepfather of six sons; revered son of John S. (Hallie) White, Sr. and the late Brunetta Burks (nee Beasley); adored son-in-law of Mrs. Jo Willie Martin; also survived by many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
