David J. Wentland, 61 of Clarence Center, NY, passed away on Friday, March 27th, 2026. David was born in Kenmore, NY and raised in Akron, NY. He attended Fredonia University where he obtained a bachelor's degree in finance and later attended Medaille College and received an MBA. He remained a resident of the Western NY area. David was employed by NOCO Energy Corporation where he held numerous executive positions in his 29-year career with the company. He was known for his loyalty, strong work ethic, and genuine character. David thoroughly enjoyed working on endeavors that had to do with finance. One of his greatest joys was making sure that his family was financially sound for the future. He cherished time spent with his family, especially the time he spent with his son Spencer. As well as daily walks with his dog Hazel and relaxing with his dog Coco. David is survived by his beloved wife Laura Conover-Wentland and devoted son Spencer A. Wentland; Loving son of David L. and the late Cleopatra (nee Burlokos) Wentland; Dear brother of Linda (Albert) Weber; cherished son-in-law of June Conover; adored brother-in-law of Edith (Conover) Gross, Emily (Conover) Covey, Karen (Conover) Rea, William H. Conover, Wayne H. Conover, Jr., and the late Elaine (Conover) Brown; as well as many nieces and nephews.
No prior visitation. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 11:00AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church 7720 Goodrich Rd. Clarence Center, NY.
