Dawn Marie Duquin (nee Heigl)

Born on October 20th 1951, died August 31st 2025 after a brief battle with cancer. Cherished Daughter of late Elmer and Evelyn Heigl. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Duquin. Loving Mother of Julie, Douglas (Meredith) & Phillip (Jessica) Duquin. Adored Grandmother of Carter Ivan, Eliza, Emersyn, Alexandra & Hadley Duquin. Cherished Sister and best friend to Linda (James) Gena. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers in law, cousins and friends. Dawn was a school teacher in the Lancaster School system where she was adored by students and colleagues alike. She loved her home and neighbors on Chatham Ave, spent summers and created memories at Long Beach and is widely loved by everyone that has met her.

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Snyder Chapel) 4614 Main St., Snyder (near Harlem Rd.) on Thursday (9/4) from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday morning (9/5) at Trinity Episcopal Church, 371 Delaware Ave., Buffalo at 10:00 o'clock. (Please assemble at church)
