Delcine Annette West

Delcine Annette West, 69 of Buffalo, NY entered into internal rest on May 13, 2020 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Illinois where she had been residing with her daughter. Annette, passed after long battle with Parkinsons dementia. Annette was employed as a principal in the Buffalo Public School System where she worked at the Dr. Charles R Drew Science Magnet, school 59 until retirement in 2009. Annette is survived by her daughter Semone M. West (Gilles) of River Forest, IL ; her son Bryan M. West of Washington DC; her grandchild, Avah K. Glassiognon; her sister Helen Virginia Murrill of Baltimore, Maryland; and her brother William Norris Totten (Mae Lois) of Burlington, NC and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was proceeded in death by her husband Michael West of Buffalo, NY; her sister Thelma Totten of Harlem, NY. And her two brother s Rubin Morris Totten (Annie) and Fletcher Donnell Totten of Burlington, NC. Annette will be greatly missed by her family, friends and community. A public viewing will be held at Lombardos Funeral Home on Wed May 27 th from 10:00AM- 12:00PM; at 102 Linwood Avenue Buffalo,NY 14209; followed by burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery; Buffalo,NY In compliance with the public health guidelines during the Covid-19 Pandemic, visitation will be monitored to limit gathering sizes based on the most current recommendations.
