October 30, 1953 August 10, 2024 HOARE, Dennis of Buffalo, entered into rest peacefully on August 10, 2024 at his residence in Hamburg at the age of 70. Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late George J. and Alice M. (Harmon) Hoare. Dennis was a student at the Cantalician Center for Learning after which he was employed by People Inc. until his retirement at age 65. Dennis was an avid fan of pop culture, including the popular TV series Happy Days and its leading man Fonzi, Elvis, Michael Jackson, music, music videos, and movies featuring motorcycles and girls. Beginning in the late seventies, Dennis enjoyed camping, swimming, and traveling while living with his sister Kathy, her husband Pat, and their six children. Dennis's favorite travels included trips to the Adirondacks, Disney World, the Thousand Islands, Allegheny, and Alaska. Above all, Dennis loved the simple pleasures of being at home with his family, enjoying a delicious homemade meal and a hot cup of coffee. Dennis brought laughter, joy, love and connection to his family, co-workers, housemates and friends. He will be forever missed. Dennis is survived by brothers Timothy (Linda), Patrick, and Bernard (Anita), as well as many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers George J. Jr, Donald R. (Dorothy), Michael P. (Winifred), his sisters Sr. Mary Madonna, Kathleen M. (Patrick), and brother Richard P. (Cindy). The family would like to thank his Caregiver Briana Sherk and the entire staff at the LORAN Group Home for their compassionate care. Relatives and friends may visit LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Tuesday (August 13th) from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 115 OConnell Ave., Buffalo on Wednesday morning at 10 oclock. Please assemble at Church.
