Dennis James Hunt

Dennis James Hunt, of Buffalo, went into rest peacefully on the Feast of the Guardian Angels, Oct. 2nd, 2023. Son of the late John P. and the late Evelyn G. (Stillman) Hunt. Son in law of the late Edward R. and the late Patricia M. (Lundmark) Heinz. Fun loving, and Kind husband of Paula M. (Heinz) Hunt. Brother in law of Frank E. Heinz (Cheri Moss-Palmer) and Marie (Heinz) Andrew Bolya. Uncle of Frankie (Amber) Heinz, Gregory (Rachel Tabone) Heinz, Paige Heinz (Juan Rodriguez) Kelvin Rivera, Amanda Papierski. Great Uncle to Layla, Ariyanna, Zoey, Amelia, Bentley, Stormy, and Shayna Rae. Survived by many loving cousins and friends. Dennis was a WNY Pro Bowler, avid golfer, member of Erie Masonic Lodge, An Ismalia Shriner and resident of Sherkston Shores for over 40 years. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Ss. Columba-Brigid Church, 75 Hickory Street Buffalo NY, 14204 where the gathering will take place there on Thursday Oct. 12th from 3:00 PM- 5:15 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 5:30 PM.
