SOPICKI - Diane M. (nee Halizak) Of Lackawanna, entered into rest June 25, 2022. Beloved wife of Walter J. Sopicki; devoted mother of Laura Sopicki and Walter Sopicki; loving daughter of the late Joseph and Sonia Halizak; dear sister of Joseph (Shirley) Halizak, Barbara (John) Crosta and Elaine (Jack) Chentfant; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Tuesday from 3-7 PM. Funeral Service will immediately follow. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Diane enjoyed spending time with family and friends, was an avid reader and supporter of the Lackawanna Library, was a life member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Michaels Parish in Lackawanna, and also a member of the Red Hatters.
