Dianne Rusch-Richter

Dianne Rusch-Richter August 22, 1937 November 13, 2024 (age 87) RUSCH-RICHTER, Dianne (nee Charlesworth) of Amherst, entered into rest on November 13, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Paul J. Rusch and Donald A. Richter. She is survived by three sons, Mark (Margaret) Rusch, David (Maria Theresa) Rusch, and Roger Rusch; daughter-in-law Kathleen Donohue; eight grandchildren, Sarah (Dan), John, Stephen (Shannon), Jennifer, Alex (Michelle), Jonathan, Rachel and Ryan; three greatgrandchildren with two more on the way; and many dear friends. Dianne was a beloved teacher at OLC/Ascension in North Tonawanda, retiring after 25 years of service to the Diocese of Buffalo Catholic Schools. She was a dedicated volunteer for Hospice, Friends of the Amherst Symphony Orchestra (past Membership Vice President), Junior League of Buffalo (Show House), and the St. Pius Senior Group (past Vice President). An avid sportswoman, Dianne was a member of both the Amherst Senior Tennis and Senior Ladies Golf Leagues (past Treasurer). She also loved to travel, sew, craft, read, cook, and entertain. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst (near Sheridan/Eggert) on Tuesday, November 19th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X, 1700 N French Rd., Getzville at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 20th.
