Dolores (Lorrie) Ryszka Gunnersen passed peacefully at the age of 98.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Nils W Gunnersen.

Dolores was a Registered Nurse, and assisted the war effort as a Cadet Nurse in her training at Meyer Memorial Hospital. She worked in the newborn nursery at Mercy Hospital, and later, as an instructor of nursing for the BOCES Vocational Education Program.

Dolores is survived by her sister Ellen Ryszka Wlodarczyk and her children Michele (Joe) Munski, Donna Mueller, Carol (Herb) Matthews, Paul (Carol) Gunnersen, James Gunnersen, Nils J (Erika) Gunnersen and Thomas (Lorna) Gunnersen, 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

A memorial mass is currently being planned. Donations may be made in Dolores' memory to Our Lady of Victory Charities or the charity of your choice.

Internment will be at the Western New York National Cemetery in Corfu, NY at a later date.
