Beloved wife of Severino Sam Monti; devoted mother of Karen Parrotte, Paul (Elizabeth) Sgroi, Salvatore (Jacqueline) Sgroi III, Marybeth Sgroi, David (Arlene) Monti and Dennis (Saundra) Monti; cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Carmelo and Mary Vaticano; dear sister of Marie Paxton, Carolyn Scinta and predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME, (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Thursday from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Mother of Good Council Church, 3688 South Park Ave., Blasdell on Friday morning at 9:30 AM (please assemble at church). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the SPCA of Erie County in Dolores memory.
