Of Amherst, entered into rest January 10, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Calogera (nee Primogenito) Burgio; devoted father of Dr. Don L. (Lourdes C.) Burgio, Bonnie Burgio and Dianne (Thomas) Lavin; cherished grandfather of Colby Lavin, Cassidy Lavin and Judah Alt; adored great-grandfather of Eleanor Lavin, Anna Lavin and Andrew Lavin; loving son of the late Luigi and Rosa Burgio; dear brother of Delores, Mary and the late Salvatore, Carmello, Jacamina, Angelo, Calogera, John, Helen, Joseph, Louis and Rose; also survived by relatives and friends. No prior visitation. Mr. Burgio was an Army Air Corps veteran of WW II.
