ANDO Sr., Donald J., of South Buffalo, entered into rest November 24, 2025. Beloved husband of Joann (nee LaBruno) Ando; devoted father of Donald (Ruth) Ando, Nancy Ando, and Christine (Joe) Frost; cherished grandfather of Eric (Jaime) Ando, Donald Ando III, Thomas (Taylor) Ando, Carly (Alex Gladkowski) Koszuta, Alex Ando, Kristina Ewing, James Koszuta, and Molly Ewing; adored great-grandfather of Danielle, Allister, Kayla, and Ryker; loving son of the late Salvatore and Eva Ando; dear brother and predeceased by Lucretia (John) Adymy, Marian (Joe) Calandra, Minnie (Al) Penders, Fred (Bea), John (Catherine), George (Elaine), James (Sarah), Joseph (Lillian), Anthony (Lucy), Salvatore (Eleanor), Michael (Patricia) Ando, Anna (Rogers) Wise, Dolores Pingatore, and David (Sue) Ando; fond brother-in-law of Robert Pingatore; also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Saturday (November 29th) from 1-4 PM, where a Prayer Service will immediately follow. Donald was a United States Army National Guard Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
