Donald J. Daniels

DANIELS - Donald J. Age 88, of Cheektowaga, entered into rest January 30, 2017. Loving son of the late Frank and Bertha (nee Leising) Daniels; dear brother of Dorothy (Edward) Rupp, Teresa (late Edward) Termer and the late Robert (late Rosemary) Daniels, Eleanor (late Arthur) Chamberlain, Vincent (late Helen) Daniels, Leroy (late Janet) Daniels, Edward (late Muriel) Daniels and Rita Daniels; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME, (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan on Thursday and Friday from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 1085 Englewood Ave., Kenmore on Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock. (Please assemble at church). Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Donald served in the US Army during the Korean War, he was a tool & die worker for Ford Motor Co. for 38 years, a 60 years member of the Donovan American Legion Post, a 51 year member of the Knights of Columbus and a 38 year member of the UAW 897. The family would like to thank the caregivers of the McAuley Residence and Heathwood Assisted Living Facility for their excellent service.
