GRIFFIN - Donald T. Of Buffalo went home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2020. He is survived by Mary Griffin; and children Tim Griffin, Julie (Dan) Ames, and Janet (Jeremy) Smith; Grandfather to Michael, Gabby, Emma, Seth, Arielle, Jayke, Isaac, and Gavin. A family memorial will be shared at a later date. Arrangements by LOMBARDOFUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel). "Donnie" will always be remembered as a simple man who was proud to be Buffalo born & raised.He enjoyed riding his bike along the river, a good conversation about the Buffalo Bills, and was a big fan of classic cop shows & movies. Don spent many years passionately serving in the Walden Fire District 1 Rescue Hose Company, volunteering as a commander with Royal Rangers for a local church, and his personal favorite was spending many summers being a train conductor at Fantasy Island Amusment Park. He is survived by Mary Griffin, Tim Griffin, Julie (Dan) Ames, Janet (Jeremy) Smith, and 8 grandchildren. The family expresses their gratitude for your condolences.
