Of Amherst, entered into rest suddenly May 28, 2010, devoted father of Rick Vitale, Michele Vitale, Sandra (Patrick Jr.) Geracci, Marie (Robert) Carson, Susan (John Jr.) LaMonte, Christopher (Amy) Vitale and the late Mark and Rachel Vitale; cherished grandfather of Crystal, Patrick III, John Jr., Nicholas, Christopher Jr. and Jillian; adored great-grandfather of Giavana, Joseph, Adriana, Bella and Savino; loving son of the late Henry and Maria (nee DelPrince) Vitale; dear brother of Richard (Jane) and Hank (Leah) Vitale; predeceased by many brothers and sisters; also survived by relatives and friends. Mr. Vitale was an Army veteran of WWII. Funeral Service 10:00 pm Thursday, June 3, 2010 St. Benedict's Church 1317 Eggert Rd. Amherst, New York, United States
