ELSAESSER, Dorothea A. (nee Hefner) Of Tonawanda, entered into rest on May 5, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Richard C. Elsaesser; devoted mother of Susan (late Robert) Kemp, Richard (Susan) Elsaesser, Robert (Mary) Elsaesser, and Patricia (George) Sawrischenski; cherished grandmother of Amanda (Bryce) Flora, Robert (Becky Fidler) Elsaesser, Michael (Marissa) Kemp, Christin (Marc) Raymond, David Elsaesser, Christopher (Ashley) Elsaesser, Julie (Danny) Bergum, and John Michael (Liz) Anabaldi; great-grandmother of Jack Bergum, Luca Bergum, Rory Elsaesser, Mason Kemp, and the late Weston Flora; loving daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy Hefner; dear sister of the late Jeanne (late Hobson) Archer and Deanna Hefner; also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst (near Eggert Rd.) on Friday from 4-8PM, where a Funeral Service will be held Saturday morning at 9 oclock. Interment Elmlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Elsaesser graduated from Mt. St. Josephs Academy and was a secretary for E.J. Eddy Co. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 622.
