Dorothy Massman

Massman, Dorothy (nee Wessner), age 95, of Tonawanda, entered into rest on August 13, 2025. Devoted wife of the late George W. Massman, Jr.; beloved mother of Mark (late Melinda Wilson) Massman, Margaret Massman and the late Barbara (Thomas) Becker; cherished grandmother of Laura D. Freeman and Adam (Megan) Slutsky; adored great-grandmother of Victor Jr., Gianna D. and Vanessa D. Freeman and Hazel Morrissey Slutsky; loving daughter of the late George and Henrietta (nee Kellner) Wessner; dear sister of Margaret (late David) King, and the late Carolyn Wessner, late Robert (late Eleanor) Wessner, late Howard (late Shirley) Wessner and late William (Mary Lou) Wessner; fond sister-in-law of Msgr. Brad Massman and Fr. John Newton; also survived by several nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Christopher Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda on Wednesday, August 20 at 9:30am (please assemble at church). Inurnment at White Chapel Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's name to Hospice Buffalo Foundation. Condolences may be shared on this page.
