Dorothy Lee Stanford

Dorothy Stanford was born on April 19th, 1938 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Tony Bryant and Callie Mae Dawsey. Sunday, May 12th, 2024 she transitioned suddenly from this life into her eternal reward. Dorothy accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized by Reverend William A. Bunton, Antioch Baptist Church. Her academic education was at The University of the State of New York in the State Education Department as a Teaching Assistant from September 1984 to September 1998. She also studied at The Career Learning Zone where she earned her High School diploma and began working at the Cantalician Center for learning where she worked with children with developmental disabilities for over 20 years. Dorothy L. Stanford dedicated her life in the service of others. She leaves to cherish her memory six sons; Monte, James, Tony, Michael Sr., Kevin and Bradley. She also leaves behind sisters and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home, Northtowns Chapel, 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. on Monday 5/20 from 10-11 and where the funeral service will begin at 11am.
