FRANCIS - Dr. Francis X. Of Amherst, NY, entered into rest January 30, 2017. Beloved husband of Georgia (nee Goetzmann) Francis; devoted father of Linda R. Hilbert, Helen L. (Neal) Mazur, Mark E. Francis and the late Dr. Victor A. Francis; cherished grandfather of Robin, James, Melissa, Amanda and David; great-grandfather of William; dear brother of the late Ruth, Madge, Helen and June; also survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME, (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan on Friday from 2-6 PM. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to Buffalo Hospice or the Schofield Foundation. Dr. Francis was a graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Missouri. Dr. Francis had a longtime family medical practice in Erie, PA. Dr. Francis was an Army veteran.
