Dr Angelo Andy Rizzo

Angelo Rizzo, Age 75, of Tonawanda, entered into rest on January 17, 2024. Beloved husband of 54 years to Susan (nee Scanlon) Rizzo; devoted father of Christopher Rizzo, Shannon Rizzo and Andrew Rizzo; cherished grandfather of Paige Greco and Piper Greco; loving son of the late Charles and Sue (nee McCullough) Rizzo; dear brother of Carol (Richard) Perry, Lynda Hiller, John (Nancy) Rizzo and Suzanne (Louie) Cordone; dear brother-in-law of Dr. Thomas Scanlon (Sue Ellen); also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Andy practiced internal medicine at both Millard Fillmore Gates and privately. He also taught at Millard Fillmore Gates for over 30 years. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd (near Eggert Rd) on Saturday, January 27 from 3-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 1085 Englewood Ave., Tonawanda on Saturday, February 3 at 9:00 o'clock (please assemble at church).
