GORNEY - Edmond J. Of Orchard Park, entered into rest March 5, 2017, beloved husband of Ruth E. (nee Wetzel) Gorney; devoted father of Pamela Gorney Wilson and the late Bruce Gorney; cherished grandfather of David (Sandra) Bowersox, Jr., April (John) Costello, Beth (Steve) Olson, Jason (Jennifer) Gorney, Eric Johnson and Tess Johnson; adored great-grandfather of 10 great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Edward and Valeria Gorney; dear brother of Lorraine (Alvin) Michgelski and the late Marcie (late Alvin) Scheulerle; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Tuesday from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Wednesday morning at 11:30 o'clock. (Please assemble at church). Mr. Gorney was a Navy veteran of WWII.
