FLAHERTY - Edward M. Of Blasdell, entered into rest April 16, 2018; beloved husband of the late Jane E. (nee Piazza) Flaherty; devoted father of Kevin (Candice) Flaherty, Mark (Terry) Flaherty, Kelly (Lori Ann Dedline) Flaherty, Susan (Amy Fantaske) Flaherty and the late Edward (Patricia) Flaherty; cherished grandfather of Ryan, William, Lauren, Danyel, Sean, Peter, Edward, Thomas, Millick, Ray, Tazz and Jaedin; loving son of the late John and Jane Flaherty; dear brother of the late Walter, William and Jean. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Friday from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park, on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock (please assemble at church). Mr. Flaherty was an Army Veteran of WWII. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's memory to Hospice of Buffalo.
