Edward H Kremer

KREMER, Edward H. of Orchard Park, entered into rest November 27, 2023. Beloved husband of Alice J. (nee Grzech) Kremer; devoted step-father of Mark (Janet) Cultrara, Beth (Dan) Draper, and Joseph (Laura) Cultrara; cherished grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 1; loving son of the late Adam and Gertrude Kremer; dear brother of Noreen (Joe) Farrell, Marietta (late Keith) Stone, and the late Gerald (Marianne) Kremer; also survived by several nieces, nephews, family and friends. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Saturday (June 8th) at 10 oclock. Entombment Holy Cross. Ed (nickname Big Ed) was a United States Air Force Veteran, had an electrical degree, held various positions at places like Union Carbide but most notably for over 30 years at Joy/Cooper/Cameron mostly as a field service man working on large centrifugal compressors. His position resulted in extensive global travel to almost every country on the planet. In his later years at Cameron, he transitioned to service training specialist teaching customers how to install and operate these large and complicated machines (Horsepower from 150 to 23,000). After leaving Cameron he decided to open his own auto repair business called AAA Auto (All About Automobiles) on South Park Avenue in Lackawanna, NY. He always worked on custom care throughout his career and had five cars appear in Hot Rod Magazine in addition to getting a patenet on a carburetor design. He had a passion for fixing cars that others could not fixthat passion kept his shop open until he reached a point in his eighties before selling and expanding capabilities at home. Physical limications and a history of operations forced him to leave home and spend quality time with wife Alice at an Elderwood Facility in West Seneca, NY. His famous phrases were every job is 90% think and 10% do, Im going to shoot you with a banana, Happy Bird Day (Thanksgiving) and would end every call with God Bless. This world has lost a very talented person but he taught many others skills that can only be passed on by the old master. Mission accomplished Big Ed!
