(nee Johnston) Solak; devoted father of Nancy (Greggory) Illos, Susan (Mauro) Belluz, Edward G. (Geraldine) Solak and David (Jean) Solak; cherished grandfather of Amanda (Adam) Scinta, Nicole, Joseph, Michael and Matthew Belluz, Anthony and Dana Illos, John Michael and Christine Murphy and Laura Elise Solak; adored papa of Merritt Scinta; loving son of the late George and Mary Solak; dear brother of the late Bernice Solak, Estelle (John) Szymanski, Charlotte (late Anthony) Kita, Lucille (late Bernard) Reding, Jean Kita, Henry (late Genevive ) Solak and Richard (Joyce) Solak; fond brother-in-law of Mary Ann (Daniel) Rosinski; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Friday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Amelia's Church, 2999 Eggert Rd., Tonawanda on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock (please assemble in church). Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Edward served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
