(nee Schlicht) VanKnapp; devoted father of Robert VanKnapp, Rene;e (Robert) Hemphill, Steven (Tira) VanKnapp, Cynthia (Ronald) McClaran and Jennifer (Mark) Garland; cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren; loving son of the late Edward and Genevieve (nee Popper) VanKnapp Sr.; dear brother of David (Susan) VanKnapp and Patricia (Richard) McGann; also survived by relatives and friends. Edward served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Funeral Service 10:00 pm Thursday, September 20, 2012 White Chapel Memorial Park 3210 Niagara Falls Boulevard Amherst, New York, United States
