Whitney, Edward L. of West Seneca, entered into rest on April 17, 2025. Loving companion and best friend of Loreen Wilhelm; father of Susan Whitney, Debra (Joseph) Czuprynski, Donna Swinnich, Sandra Bieniek and Edward (Dr. Matthew Souza) Whitney; dear son of the late Edward and Mary Whitney; cherished brother of Mary (late James) Gleason and the late Richard (Rita) Whitney, Luverne Locke and Wilford (late Doris) Whitney; grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; also loved by many nieces and nephews. Ed was a US Army Veteran having served during the Korean War, was a Life Member of Amvets Post 8113 in West Seneca and a two time Post Commander. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Sunday (April 27) from 2-5 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Queen of Heaven Church, 4220 Seneca St., West Seneca on Monday morning at 10:15 AM. Please assemble at Church. Interment St. Martins Cemetery, Langford. Flowers gratefully declined.
