Edythe Marian Clawson

(nee Mitchell), age 95, of Williamsville, formerly of Amherst, entered into rest on December 4, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Wilbert Clawson; devoted mother of Lynne (Dwight) Clawson-Woods and Sharonn Clawson; cherished grandmother of Adrian Billups and Brandon Woods; adored great-grandmother of 6 and great-great-grandmother of 2; loving daughter of the late Rev. Isaac W. and Mary Belle (nee Christman) Mitchell; dear sister of Florence Beverly Taylor, Charles Mitchell, Sr. and 9 brothers and sisters who passed away; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and 4 Godchildren. Edythe retired as the Assistant Vice President of Operations for Marine Midland Bank's Rand Building. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr. on Saturday, December 14 from 11am-12pm. A celebration of Edythe's life will immediately follow at 12pm. Burial Forest Lawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in Edythe's memory.
