95, of West Seneca, New York passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of July 24, 2023 into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. Eleanor was born on June 5, 1928 in Buffalo, New York to Louis Oliveri and Lucy (Tozo) Oliveri. Eleanor was a graduate of Mount Mercy Academy in Buffalo New York. Eleanor was empowered with a great business mind and leadership skills which allowed her to pave the way for other womens ventures. She was a well-known entrepreneur in the Buffalo area, establishing several successful businesses. She was the owner of the Central Ticket Office Agency, managing and directing ticket sales for the Buffalo Bills, Sabres and Braves. She worked with several promoters to bring a variety of entertainers to Buffalo. Eleanor was one of the first woman executives in professional sports. She opened the popular New Yorker Deli in downtown Buffalo, as well as the EB Liquor store. Later, she opened and managed Pizza 4 U in West Seneca New York which became Ms. Bs bar and restaurant. Eleanor was predeceased by her brothers Vincent (Helen) Oliveri, Martin (Mary) Oliveri, Louis (Bridget) Oliveri and her sisters Marion (Carmen)Giglio and Geraldine (John) Cusato. She is survived by her sister- in- law, Bridget Oliveri and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 2-6 PM. There will be a Prayer Service at the funeral home at 8:15 AM on July 31, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 at St. Teresas Church, Buffalo, New York at 9:30 AM. Eleanor will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna, New York.
