Eleanor Schiffner

June 9. 1931-December 4, 2024 SCHIFFNER, Eleanor "Ellie" (nee Grassinger) of Orchard Park, left us peacefully on December 4, 2024 surrounded by family at the age of 93. Beloved wife of Arthur E. Schiffner; devoted mother of Susan (Chris) Heath and Karen (Jordan) Bowhay; cherished grandmother of Allisa Heath, Talan, Tanner, and Tyler Bowhay; loving daughter of the late Matthew and Theresa Grassinger; dear sister of the late Matthew and the late Alfred Grassinger; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Monday (December 9th) from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Tuesday morning at 10 oclock. Please assemble at Church. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Ellie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She met the love of her life, Arthur and married on September 21, 1954. The two shared a marriage that lasted 70 years. Ellie will be remembered for her love for her family and her fiery spirit.
