Eliud Casillas

Eliud Casillas passed away Sunday, January 16th, 2022, surrounded by family. Eliud was born May 10th, 1955 in Puerto Rico to Ruben and Carmen Casillas. He is survived by his wife Wendy of 30 years, daughters: Gina Casillas, Carmen Casillas, Jacqueline Casillas, Jessica (Scott) Baryza. His siblings, Amy, Eli, Lemuel, Ruthie, Obed, Ruben, And Dorca. Grandchildren, Chad, Javier, Anthony, Robert, and Gryffin. Great grandchildren, Bella, Dominick, Eli, Jaelianie, and Aj. He was preceded in death by his mother Carmen, and sister Abigail. For many years Eliud worked as a welder and became certified with the State of NY working on bridges, he later retired from local 210 laborers union. He was a longtime member of LOMC and served as the president for many years. He was also active in ABATE of NY (American Bikers Aimed Toward Education) and served them for many years. He enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley and spending time with his wife and daughters. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 28th at the VFW Post 1419 located at 2985 Lakeview Rd Hamburg, NY 14075. Friends and family can gather from 3pm-8pm. Cash bar, food will be provided.
