Elizabeth Bach

BACH - Elizabeth of Buffalo, entered into rest on January 27, 2023 at the age of 72 after a lengthy illness. Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Bach; dear sister of Peg (Raymond) Murray, Barbara (Joseph) Doraski, Christine (Robert) Brand, Kate (Joseph) Raucci, and the late Maryann (Steven) Duran, late Jane (William) Boggess, late Paul (Lydia) Bach, and the late James (Mary Anne) Bach; cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews; also survived by family and friends. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna on Tuesday morning at 10:30 oclock, please assemble at Church. Elizabeth was a graduate of Mt. Mercy Academy, and went on to study Social Services at Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. After graduation, she lived in Minneapolis, MN and Utah before moving to Bethel Alaska, where she started the first group home for troubled children. Elizabeth moved back to Buffalo, NY where she continued working for twenty years as a licensed Social Worker for Catholic Charities and later Veterans Affairs until her retirement.
