LEVIN - Elizabeth L. "Betty"(nee Lupp) Of Amherst, NY entered into rest December 22, 2022; Beloved wife of the late Leonard J. Levin; devoted mother of Nancy ( Robert) Dorobiala, Carole (Santos) MacDonal, David (Melanie) Levin and the late Lisa Clausen; cherished grandmother of Matthew and Eric Carfagnini, Jessica (Dustin) Brown and Katherine Levin and great grandmother of 2; dear sister of Margaret (late Edmund) Swiatosz, Fredrick (Florence) and Rudolph (Dianne) Lupp. Betty earned her degree from Canisius College, was a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society and worked at the college as an administrative assistant. She also earned a four year certificate from the Catholic Biblical Studies Program in Buffalo. While working as an executive assistant for 20 years at Goldome and then Key Bank, she also was a member and lector at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Kenmore where she initiated the Little Rock Scripture Studies Program. Betty enjoyed attending concerts, theater and dance productions throughout the Buffalo area. Her favorite pastime was designing and sewing clothing and quilts. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John the Baptist Church, Englewood Ave., Kenmore, NY on Wednesday at 9:30 AM.
