Elizabeth M. Smith

of Amherst, entered into rest August 21, 2025.  beloved wife of the late Frederick T. Smith; devoted mother of Courtney (Chelsea) Halbert; Cody (Casey Roberts) Smith and Brittany (Timothy Fabin) Smith; loving daughter of the late William and Helen Boyce; dear sister of Thomas Boyce, and the late Judith (Raymond) Ealy and William Boyce; also survived by nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst on Friday from 3:00 - 8:00 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning 8/30 at St. Leo the Great, 885 Sweet Home Rd., Amherst at 9:00 o'clock. (please assemble at church).  Elizabeth dedicated her life to caring for others as both a nurse and a professor of nursing, sharing her compassion, knowledge, and wisdom with patients and students throughout Western New York.
