Emily I. Riley

Emily I Riley of Buffalo, New York passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, at the age of ninety. She was the beloved wife of Alvin C Riley and the devoted mother of two sons, the late George Reginald (Vernesia) Savage and the late Keevan D Savage; cherished daughter of the late Jim and Dilcy Rollins; devoted sister of the late Annie Lou Johnson, Imeana (James) Seymour, Climmie (Sam) Hardin, Jimmie (James) Coats, Katherine Davenport and her surviving sister Ann (J.R.) Thomas.

Born on June 8, 1935, in Troy, Alabama, Emily was known for her kindness, generosity, strength and spirituality. She faithfully served her God Jehovah and dedicated her life to helping family and friends, giving everyone a warm embrace. Her passion for music, dancing, high fashion and jewelry design brought her great joy.

She is survived by dear nieces and nephews, grand and great grandchildren and many loving friends.
