Full of life and known for his hearty laugh, Erwin always took care of his guests and entertained them with his stories. Born in Latvia and immigrating to the U.S.as a teenager, he embodied hard work and generosity, dedicating his life to providing for those he loved. Erwin has joined his beloved wife, Mirdza of 64 years. Father of Linda (Ray) Zilgme, Astrid (Dale) Hamilton and Eric (Carly) Ekman; cherished grandfather of Andy (Katie) Zilgme, Timmy (Jessica) Zilgme, Samuel (Tiffin) Hamilton, Jacob (Christina) Hamilton, Audrey (Matt) Pence, Anna (Alan) Polson, Gavin Ekman and Remy Ekman; adored great-grandfather of Victor, Jade, Kora, and Natalie Zilgme and Asher, Norah, and Elowyn Hamilton, and Mabel Pence; dear brother Harold Ekman of Florida.
