Ethel F. Mackwirth

Mackwirth, Ethel F. (nee Reppenhagen) 6/1/1916 - 8/7/2024 aged 108, passed away on Wednesday, August 7th. Ethel is predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Howard F. Mackwirth. Devoted mother of Marilyn (Jack) May and Linda (late Louis) Betstadt. Grandmother of Christopher (Dianne) May, Karin (John) Cywinski, Sarah (Dan Trout) Betstadt MD, Molly (Ray Bailey) Betstadt;. Great grandmother of Lily May, Avery, Nathan, Quinn Cywinski, Simon and Margot Trout and Charlotte Sher. Dear sister of the late Ruth Denall, late Robert Reppenhagen and late Norma English. Ethel worked until the age of 69 for the Buffalo Public Schools, she Was also very active in the Cleveland Hill United Methodist Church. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday evening from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Lombardo Funeral Home (Snyder Chapel) 4614 Main St, NY 14226. A Service of Christian Burial will be held on Monday morning at 10:00 o'clock at Central Park United Methodist Church, 216 Beard Ave. Buffalo NY 14214.
