Evelyn Regina Elliott

Evelyn Regina Elliott, aged 63, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024, in Buffalo, NY. Born on August 2, 1961, in Newport, RI, Evelyn was known for her loving and caring nature, though she was often shy. Her favorite color was purple, which reflected her gentle personality. Evelyn graduated from Erie County Community College with an associate's degree in marketing. Evelyn received the right hand of fellowship and gave her life to God at Hemphill Interdenominational Baptist Church, located in Buffalo, NY, where she was a teacher of children's bible studies. She found joy in knitting and crocheting as much as she could and enjoyed listening to R&B Top 40 and Gospel. These activities were a significant part of her leisure time, providing her with both comfort and a means of expression. She is survived by her mother, Elsie R. Elliott-Turner and Aunt, Alice F. Davis of Chandler, Arizona; her sisters, Marie Denise of Buffalo, NY, Deirdre Elliott of Crown Point, Indiana; her brothers, Jeffrey L. Elliott of Newport, North Carolina, and Joseph L. Elliott of Wilson, North Carolina; her nephew, Andrew L. Cheatham; a niece, Jillian Beard; and her great-niece and great-nephew, Annabella Newman and Jacob Cheatham, all who reside in Buffalo, NY; and a host of cousins and friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her father, Joseph L. Elliott of San Diego, California. All services for Evelyn will be private. Lombardo Funeral Home in Buffalo, NY is assisting the family with the arrangements. Evelyn's kindness and quiet love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
