FILDES - Evelyn T. (nee Gemerek) Of Tonawanda, entered into rest on April 28, 2021. Beloved wife of the late James A. Fildes; devoted mother of Paul (Diane) Fildes, Patricia Fildes, Mary Fildes and the late David (Jill) Fildes; cherished grandmother of Kelly (Jeremy) Murphy, Kevin (JoAnna) Fildes, Kathryn Fildes and Kristin Fildes; adored big grandma to Conor, Molly and Kathryn Murphy; loving daughter of the late Casimer and Irene Gemerek; dear sister of Edna (late Raymond) Weinholtz, the late Rita (late William) Kirk, the late Wilma (late Roy) Montour, the late Daniel (Patricia) Gemerek and the late Robert (Alice) Gemerek; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Bvld., near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr., on Sunday, from 2-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Amelia Church, 2999 Eggert Rd., Tonawanda on Monday morning at 9 oclock (Please assemble at Church). Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
