BURGIO - Fanny M. (nee Gnozzo) Of Buffalo, entered into rest October 9, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Edward A. Burgio; devoted mother of Lorraine (John) Sodaro, Edward (Jacqueline) Burgio, and Cathy (Thomas) Shanahan; cherished grandmother of Ashley (Kevin) Sweeney, Amanda (Eric) Fusco, Edward (Emily) Burgio, Rebecca (Louis) Sedia, Natalie (Michael) Hubert, and Andrew Burgio; adored great-grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Pasquale and Anna Gnozzo; dear sister of the late Anthony (Joan), Pascal, and Joseph (Janet) Gnozzo; also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Snyder Chapel), 4614 Main St., near Harlem Rd., on Friday from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday in Holy Spirit Church, 85 Dakota St., at 9 AM (please assemble at church). Interment Mount Calvary Cemetery.
