WHELAN - Fenton Of East Otto, NY, entered into rest October 11, 2018. Beloved husband of 45 years to the late Doris L. (nee Hoadley) Whelan; devoted father of Nancy Whelan (late Tom Piechnik), Debbie (Paul) Tomaka, and the late Ronnie Whelan; cherished grandfather of 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; loving son of the late William and Mildred Whelan; predeceased by 5 brothers, and 1 sister; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Saturday from 1-5PM with military honors to follow at 5PM. He was an active member of the Concord American Legion Post 431, and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
