JESWALD, Filomena Mae (nee Castiglia) of Hamburg, entered into rest August 20, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Ralph R. Jeswald; devoted mother of Ralph M. (Linda) Jeswald, Rick (Lisa) Jeswald, Michael (Beth) Jeswald, and Beth (Todd) Jeswald-Simmons; cherished grandmother of Jeffrey (Kellie) Jeswald, Dan (Lindsey) Jeswald, Jenna (Aaron) McKissick, Carlie Jeswald, Marissa Jeswald, Michael (Mychaela) Jeswald, Maxwell Jeswald, Elise Walters, Gatlin (Richelle) Walters, Parker Walters, Marnie Walters, and Nicole Simmons; adored great-grandmother of Ryleigh, Carter, and Gatlin; loving daughter of the late Angelo and Carmella Castiglia; dear sister and predeceased by Joseph “Jerry” Castiglia and Anna Marie (Donald) Fregelette; fond sister-in-law of Barbara Castiglia; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Monday (8/24) from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Bernadette Church, 5930 S Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock. Please assemble at Church. Interment Holy Spirit Cemetery. Mae retired after 23 years as a teacher with the North Collins School District, where she dedicated herself to educating and supporting her students. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Mae’s caregivers for the kindness, compassion, and attentive care they provided. In honor of Mae’s final request, guests are encouraged to dress in bright, vibrant colors in her memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo or the Alzheimer’s Association.
