Floreal & Elizabeth Prieto

Floreal Rivera, born 1933 and Elizabeth J. (Ranucci) Prieto born 1929 moved to Heaven on October 20th and March 9, 2015 respectively in Western New York. Froreal served in the United States Army Reserves for thirty years and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1994. After retiring from Calspan in 1998, Mr. Prieto went on to teach English at the University of Buffalo for Several more years. Elisabeth Prieto was a homemaker and volunteered in her community as a Cub Scout Leader, and she served in her church in many capacities including candy making for fundraising. Her hobbies included flower decorating, gardening and babysitting her grandchildren. She was a Master Gardener. The Prieto's are survived by 6 children, 14 grandchildren and a great grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 24, 2015 at 2:00 M at New Covenant Tabernacle, 345 McConkey Drive, Tonawanda. The interment of Floreal and Elizabeth will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
