Francesca Feeney

Of Buffalo, NY, May 25th, after an unexpected illness. Francesca, a native of E. Northport, NY, graduated from University of Buffalo in 1978 with a B.A. in Sociology and Art. Francesca worked for Sisters of Charity Hospital for 20 years and was a tireless advocate for the elderly. Francesca, an SGI Nichiren Buddhist, chanted Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. She embraced the philosophy of encouragement for all persons with whom she interacted. Francesca is survived by her sisters Alida Ferrari; Mary Feeney; Teresa Feeney; Joanne Christopher; and her brothers Thomas Feeney and Paul Feeney; and seven nieces and nephews.
