SCAGLIONE, Francis W. Fran Of Tonawanda, entered into rest on November 7, 2022. Beloved husband of Ida M. (nee Carlo) Scaglione; devoted father of Ferdinand (Janine), John (late Lauren), Claire (John) Zaepfel, Marianna (Michael) Cecchini, and Francis (Jade) Scaglione; cherished grandfather of Francis (Annie), Sherrie (Chris) Castellano, Valentina, Joseph (Erika), Bianca, Desi, Shae Zaepfel, Cassandra Cecchini, Robert (Kelly) Cecchini, Lenna, Isla, Francis Scaglione; great-grandfather of Marzio, Silvana, Salvatore Scaglione, and Chase Cecchini; loving son of the late C. Hilda (nee Cordick) and Ferdinand C. Scaglione; dear brother of Salvatore (Patricia), Marianne (Monte) Decker, and the late Ferdinand (Margaret) Scaglione; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst (near Eggert Rd.) on Sunday (Nov. 20th) from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning (Nov. 21st) in St. Christophers R.C. Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd, Tonawanda at 9:30 oclock. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Hospice Buffalo. Fran was not only an educator by profession, he was our educator in life. He taught us the most important things of allto love one another, spread joy and kindness, and to be of service to others. Frans devout faith in the Lord guided him to lead by example. His trademark smile, warmth, and elegant demeanor would put an entire room at ease in an instant, and he left an indelible mark on all those he crossed paths with. Fran will be cherished forever.
