SMITH - Francis J. Of Hamburg, entered into rest January 17, 2017. Beloved husband of Elaine M. (nee Wishman) Smith; devoted father of Phillip (Cathy) Smith, Lisa Smith, Cynthia (William) Riedl, Daryl (Colleen) Smith, Beverly (Bob) Gallien and the late Kenneth Smith; fond stepfather of Linda (Tom) Fensken; also survived by many grandchildren, relatives and friends. No prior visitation. A Memorial Service will be held in Syracuse, NY at a later date. Fran was a veteran of the US Army. After he retired from TodCo, he worked at Valu Hardware in Hamburg, NY, where he received the Founders Memorial Award for loyalty, dedication and service. -
