SNYDER, Francis D. “Don” of Blasdell, entered into rest February 4, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Celia M. (nee Balester); devoted father of Karen (Brian) Lavis, Cheryl (Anthony) Iavenditti, Tricia (David) Bagley, and the late Donald Snyder; cherished grandfather of Don (Meghan Sherer) Lavis, Brian (Ann Nguyen) Lavis, Patrick Lavis, Allison (Patrick) Byrne, Kristen (James) Koteras, Lauren (Lynn Amplement) Iavenditti, Meghan (Jessie Allison) Lavis, Kaitlyn and Dawson Bagley; adored great-grandfather of Mia, Julia, and Bexley; loving son of the late Francis Snyder and Helen (nee Proudman) Wiehe; dear brother of the late Catherine "Sis" Balester; fond brother-in-law of Anita (late Mickey) Egloff, Mary Ann Balester, late Frank and the late Anthony (late Judy) Balester; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Monday (February 9th) from 3-7 PM, where a Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Don will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s honor may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Western New York Chapter.
